Song of the Prairie Chorus came into being largely through the vision and efforts of our former director, Carol Stenstrom. Carol has an extensive background in barbershop music, and when she moved to Marshall years ago, she was determined to build a chorus in this area. The word spread, and the group grew. We practiced and learned.  On May 1, 2006 we were accepted as a chapter by Sweet Adelines International.  Our current director is Wendy Chisham.
